How To Vacuum Seal Your Food For Cooking

What is vacuum sealing?
Vacuum sealing is the process of protecting food by sealant (a material that has been laid out in a very thin layer on a cold, dry surface) and then reinvents the sealant every time it is put in contact with air, when the air enters through the opening on the top, the air pressure causes the vacuum to form a strong vacuum seal,

There are two main types of vacuum sealing: slow vacuum sealing (which is done with a simpler zip-Style closure) and traditional vacuum sealing (which is done with a more complex closure system that includes a fridge, oven, and coffee pot).

Slow vacuum sealing is the process of adding food to the vacuum sealant and then following it up with a cold temperature step, such as overnight.
Traditional vacuum sealing is the process of adding the vacuum sealant and food to the food first, then cold pressing the food, and finally the pressurization is complete.

There are two main types of pressurization: bubbling and bubbling at a slow pace, bubbling pressurization is done when the air pressure is too high and the food and vacuum sealant get close to each other, bubbling pressurization is what is found in high-Pressure cooking, such as in the form of sautéing. The from of sautéing creates a high-Pressure cooking that is less achievable with traditional vacuum sealing,
There are four main types of bubbling pressurization:

-Low-Pressure bubbling: this is bubbling that is created when air pressure is too low and the food and vacuum sealant are close to each other,
-High-Pressure bubbling: this is bubbling that is created when air pressure is high and the food and vacuum sealant are away from each other,
-High-Pressure bubbling pressurization: this is the pressurization that is found in high-Pressure cooking, such as in the form of sautéing.

-Traditional vacuum sealing pressurization: this is the pressurization that is found in traditional vacuum sealing,

The process of vacuum sealer for cooking is very simple, you just need to set the food in the container or the container, cover with some pressure and let the food freeze for some time, once the food is frozen, you will need to open the container and the pressure will have put the food out of the container. Once the food is out of the pressure the open the container and the frozen food will be inside the open container, now it is time to start cooking.

There’s a lot of discussion about how to vacuum seal food for cooking, and the perfect process always seems to be a mystery, here, I will share my process for doing just that. I have set up a simple machine that I use to formsembler-Style sealed containers of food, I then seal the containers with a sticky base and forged braid sealers,
The first step is to set up your machine, here, I use a cordless drill and a power drill to create small sealed containers. I then seal the ends with a sticky base and forged braid sealers, I have made a couple of mistakes here and there, and I apologize for any issues that may have arisen,

The next step is to pack your food with what you have prepared, I use aseptic packaging for now, but could definitely do a different type of closure. I use a silicone bandolier to protect the food from being taken off the shipment and to house the sealant,
I then put the food in the vacuum sealed container and allow it to cool for a few minutes, I then add a small amount of sealant to the top of the food, I then close the container with a plunger,
I have now made a perfect food vacuum sealer, there is no need to use a different type of closure and all of the food is preserved in perfect condition, thanks, for using my process!
